hi, tractor looks great.:thumbsup: I ordered a 2520 on 3/12/11, loader should have arrived today. I also ordered turfs. looked at 2320, and liked the hydro-pump on the side of the engine. upgrading from kubota B1750. Hoping to get delivery in a day or two. Don,t use it , u don't want it to get dirty. LOL

LOL your right I dont want to get it dirty.. I've been working on getting the first coat of wax on it, Added my seat cover and painted my bucket hooks I bought from kennyD I will drill and mount them this week..

I started out looking at the X749 but by the time you added the 3 point hitch and all the bells and whistles I wanted It was up to a 2320/2520 price. Once I decided that I was going to be looking at the 2320, 2520 and the 2720 It didn't take long to X out the 2720 as I wasn't going to run a bush hog or tiller off the back pto and I thought that the few extra Hp wasn't worth $1,500 to $1,800 extra in the price tag. Now it came down to the 2320 and the 2520. I went and looked at both of these tractors at the dealers. Both had the $1,000 off with two implements. The 2720 did not. So my reasoning was if I don't buy the 2720 I just saved $1,500 to $1,800 bucks. Then add that $1,000 rebate. Bingo !!! There's my free front end loader. There were a couple small things that kept me from the 2320. One was I liked the larger rear wheels and the larger Hydraulic pumps on the 2520. The best thing about when I was ready to take delivery of my 2520 is John Deere raised the rebate from $1,000 to $2,500 so it was just perfect timing for me and I fell in love all over again..

Wheeew I tired now.. :laughing:

Hope this helps some on your decision. My best advise to you on your purchase is to keep reading these forums. I've learned alot..

speaking of first coat of wax-----be careful when pulling tractor into parked loader assembly, I have put scrapes on my pretty green hood and thought I was hitting trees until I caught myself scraping when pulling in.

Congratulations on the new tractor. I love my 2520, and I'm sure you will be very happy with your choice.

I noticed something in your pictures that someone else had told me about. The 62D deck no longer has the brackets on the front that allow you to pick it up with the 3PH. Does the manual for your deck suggest how to transport it once you have removed it? That's a feature I find quite handy, and I was wondering why Deere did away with it.

What is that black cylinder attached to the ROPS? I've seen it on all the new 2x20 tractor pictures. It may be a stupid question but we all know what they say.. There's no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid people.

It is intended for the owner's manual. Also functions as tool/spare beer holder.
