OP, I think you would have done better with a set price, the bidding thing with a reserve is too aggravating for too many people.. they offer what they are willing to pay, and then find out the reserve is even higher, that's aggravating!..

Morning Richard, it is a red tailed hawk.

Very cool. I've had a female nest in one of my timber spots for the last three years. I really enjoy watching them grow. She gets them out of the nest the week after Memorial Day.

They build and lay eggs early. Before the leaves come on. Since I now know she's around I start looking for the nest then. The first year I just got lucky. The last two were easy to spot. I've sat and watched the nests for hours. I've never saw her feed them. One thing kinda cool, by the time they are meadow lark or quail size she has them potty trained. They back to the edge of the nest and let it go.
