It's a nice old machine that can still do a lot of work. My neighbor brought our old 3616 International and uses it frequently. Those old machines are built heavy. Engine parts for our old 3616 were readily available and hoses, pumps, etc...are still out there as NOS. Good luck in selling. Distance and location are two big factors when buying online as everyone knows.

EXACTLY CORRECT!

I bought my new to me, 2006 Kubota L48 TLB in Maine, (8,000lb.) just last month.
350 miles travel each way.

Towed it home on my 20' 14K equipment trailer, pulled by my 392V-8 4x4 GMC K-2500 Suburban.
The $2400 transportation estimate in post #52, is more than 1/2 what I paid for the trailer, 4 years ago.

Though I use the trailer very infrequently, I have paid for it (it is for personal use only) several times over, in the 4 years.
Plus....the trailer still has at least $3500 used resale value.
I estimate my true cost of trailer ownership at $240 per year.
There are no rental options in my area for a comparable trailer.

An equipment trailer has numerous other potential uses in addition to hauling a tractor.
I do not understand why nearly everybody with a tractor/equipment does not own a proper trailer (unless they lack storage space).

I do not carry trailer physical damage insurance, and registration cost is $20 per year.
I keep it in my barn to eliminate tire sun damage, and deck rot.
I would not want to be without it!

My trailer ownership/operating costs are minimal.

I fully agree I have traveled across 4 states to pickup my own equipment instead of paying the CRAZY shipping costs. Some folks just love the gloom and doom.My 20ft bumper pull 14,000 lbs axles PJ trailer also sets in my barn out of the weather ready for service when needed.

Looks like the bids are getting up there. That is a well kept machine. It should serve someone well.

Considering that a well kept Ford 3,000 can bring $6500 I would not be surprised if it runs a bit more than that. It has somewhat limited appeal though (this is going to be one that someone will buy for personal use), so that will play against it.
