Not sure... I just like the tingle. (actually, it doesn't hurt until you kick off your shoe and stand barefoot in the grass. You only do that once).

I used that for a while, and it did a good job, but eventually fell off or got rubbed off by branches. By then I duck automatically.

Hey, Bob, I have the same thing happen all the time with my factory edging on our canopy. Especially the rear corners. They get popped off all the time. Maybe because it is just pressed on. Perhaps some silicone caulk before installing the pipe insulation that Fourteen mentions would keep it in place for the season. If we hit branches or sticks, it may just shred or tear instead of popping off the entire strip. It could be replaced each season, or in sections as needed pretty econmically.
