Congratulations! That's a great machine and best of all it's green. You'll wonder why you waited.

Keep everyone updated on how it turns out.

I forgot my camera at work last night, so unfortunatly it will be another day before I get pictures. I did take it out for a "Test mow" last night. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

OK Here is the first photo!

Also....my first question! How the heck do I adjust the height of the MMM??? The manual (and the dealer) says to rotate the black knob near my left foot CCW to lower, and CW to raise the MMM. There is also mention of using the hydraulics to raise and lower the MMM. My problem is, I can't get any of it to move! The manual knob is very stiff (yes, I am flipping the handle to unlock it), and when it does loosen up, it just turns freely, not moving anything on the MMM. With the manual knob loose, I would expect the hydraulics to raise/lower the MMM, but they don't. I am sure this is just an ID-10-T error on my part......but I have 4 acres to get mowed this weekend! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

WOW! That is one clean little tractor right there!

I believe my 670 uses the same basic deck, and you adjust mowing height on it with the bushings on the front casters, and the back casters are adjustable as well. Raising and lowering is done with the three-point-hitch via brackets on the lower lift arms. I'm not sure what knob your talking about, but the only one I have adjusts how fast or slow the implement drops.

I have been clarified on the adjusting of the MMM. The deck will raise and lower by using the same hydraulics as the bucket tilt, however the deck will not move until the bucket reaches it's back tilt stop, then the deck will lift off the ground.

Aren't helpful and friendly dealers great! Thanks to John over at DeKalb Implements! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
