I hope I can get paint that looks ok, since the rest of the paint job is very good.
The winch won't pull directly onto the trailer unless I build a high roller point. My usual gig is to unhook the trailer (I added a couple of legs onto the V) and load it with the grapple. Works pretty well, and I don't have to line up the trailer with the log.
I have a 1/2 mile to carry logs and its less trouble to trailer them than skid.
