I HAD a generator just like that one. Don't let it sit with ethanol gas in it. You will ruin the carb. Apparently the Chinese engines don't like the alcohol.

I use my generator more than most, so it does not set very much. I have had it for three years. I change the oil every 50 hours or so, and it still starts on the first pull. I run Lucas fuel treatment through it. Setting is the worst thing for any equipment.
