I had a John deere model 724 self propelled with low hours that I gave to my daughter and her new husband last winter.They struggled to get out of there driveway to go to work and could not get to there livestock very easy because of the deep snow. This ariens blower is the JD replacement .

One does occasionally find a seller with a realistic expectation of pricing. Many want more than new for old junk. I rarely go on Craigslist now just for that reason and the fact that I have so much stuff, I should be selling on Craigslist, not buying. I have bought a lot of stuff in the past, some at pretty good pricing. Now that everyone is using it, sellers see an old junker for XXXX dollars and then say, mine is much better so they jack the price of theirs and the cycle continues till folks want more than new price. Sellers should be made to post selling price of any item sold also.

I'll tell you what... if I could spend $550 and ensure there would be no snow, I would gladly hand over the money.

Normally I agree, but even I got sick of it this last winter. Yes, most of the time it is enjoyable, but when you live in the sticks and work 3rd shift and had to struggle even to get to work at times, it got old... although I won't complain about the seat time.
