Now I'm jealous because my Curtis cab is older-
the windshield is straight, doesn't pop out and the doors are hinged on the front.

Trade ya??

Seymour:

I wish my Curtis cab doors were hinged on the front. I love my cab, but sometimes the wind catch the doors, and it's hard to reach the latches to pull them forward to close. Also put my taillights inside the ROPS instead of on the outside, because the backward opening doors would hit them.

okay, again -- i needed a cab -- i have a 300' driveway, 14' wide, and i live east of lake erie -- enough said!

i wanted the 20,000 btu heater, and i wanted a nice appearance, so i went with the curtis cab for my kubota b2410 --

-- here's the kit, disassembled on my garage floor, along with the kubota --

first, the front cowl and frame goes on the kubota -- and one rear panel --

-- the rear panel weather-stripping was installed wrong at curtis, so i assembled the pieces backwards -- :|

they use carriage bolts a LOT, which require a lot of cursing and dremeling to get off for 20% of them -- 20% that hurt -- !!

next, the center rear panel -- it site back from the rear two side panels to allow for the tractor seat position --

next, the windshield and roof --

and finally, the doors, which fit like a charm -- they're "jeep style", so can be easily popped off --

finally, a mostly-finished assembly -- next is the front wiper and the heater hook-ups -- note the windhield pops out, if wanted --

the rear --

and from the inside --

all in all, a very solid unit - not too difficult an install -- 6-8 hours max till this point!

next, the heater plumbing and front wiper install, then DONE -- !!

Boy, that is really nice. How much did that set you back ?

Nice cab. Seems to fit together rather well. Are you going to get one ( or are they available ) for the RTV ? I'm looking at the 1100 series because the 900 is not available with the factory cab. I would have one tomorrow if a mower would be available but I'm having a hard time justifying 16 plus for just a utility vehicle to ride around in. I know the dog will vote yes on the purchase.
ps. Your garage looks like a Kubota annex.......... You must have a very good dealer.
