Sorry to hear about her injury
Most likely she will end up with a rehabilitative case worker pick their brain too they see this all the time.
I wanted to get my dad one of the "Ive fallen and cant get up" buttons for him to wear but he was to bullheaded "I don't need one of those things they are for OLD people" he was 72 at that point and living by him self.
You might have to sell her gently on the stuff do a little a time.
and explain that you want to do it so you have more quality time with her.
