My Day for Wierd Things to Happen

I've done the same sort of thing on my goldwing. I usually wear cowboy boots, but there have been times for some quick trips, I just hop on with whatever I'm wearing. Sneakers with shoelaces are bad. Coming up to a stop, I discovered a shoelace had hooked around something down there. Lots of thoughts flash through ones mind as the stop sign approaches. Managed to get it loose before the pending fall. I was lucky, though I think in a few more seconds I might have been able to brake that lace. Now it is either cowboy boots or hiking type boots with much shorter farther away shoelaces.

I bought a sport bike a few years ago, a Suzuki GSX-R. On the day I bought it, I drove to the insurance agent's office to purchase insurance. I pulled into the parking space, went to put my feet down and they wouldn't reach! /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif I was stopped over a drain and the wheels were on the outside of it. Over I went on my brand new bike. Luckily I saved it from touching pavement /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif, but two guys who had been watching the whole thing had to come help me get it back up. /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif It all turned out ok, but it was one of the most embarassing things ever to happen to me. What was worst was my girlfriend (now wife) was on the back of it when it happened! /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif/w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif
