So, how do you calculate the difference betweem Percent and Degrees in slopes.

My tractor is rated at a 45 degree slope (sideways). What would that be in Percent?

Those Dingos can be pretty exciting ! I was working with my tree guys and they have one with a little grapple on it. I was pulling some oak logs up a pretty steep hill and they were hauling the brush away with the grapple. I was unhooking a hitch and smelled someone burning leaves,it was pretty windy and when I looked down at them they were trying to stamp out a leaf fire that was under the machine and starting to pick up fast! I ran down and put out the fire with a 5lb dry chem that I mounted on the Kubota. A little while later they flopped the Dingo on it's side too, didn't run away, just too steep a hill. Hooked the Farmi winch to it and stood it up. Smoked for a bit but seemed ok after that.

I think it's35/100th's of vertical or .35 x 90 or 31.5 degrees.
Anyway its steep and I remember pulling a backhoe on a trailer with ramps about 30 degrees and found myself on a tractor standing about 75 degrees from horizontal trying to put it back down with the steering brakes without going over the side when the backhoe bucket grabed the back underside of the trailer. Never climb anything without a good load in the bucket since or think about grades> 20 degrees without ROP!
