vwp: Some of these also puke out very fast when the battery is cold. Keep it in your jacket 'till you need it.
There's an excellent, cheap suction mount. It's called the PanaVise. They are listed on Amazon for like-$20. ..all the rules apply: clean surface, etc...
ICS: The GoPro works pretty well but your need the fingers of a 9yr old child. (GoPro buys their suction mount from PanaVisa, but uses a proprietary mounting system so it does not work with the usual 1/4-20 threads other cams use.) With the tiny buttons, it's probably better to setup/start in a heated garage before you battle the cold
The VADO vwp used is probably the best/cheap cam - and less than 1/2 the GoPro. You just need more light back there - these lens' are pretty small. (I have about 5/6 brands, incl. GoPro, and the Vado works great. ..I always buy used on Ebay or refurbs.)
Here's the PanaVise holding a Kodak Zi6 a couple of weeks ago. I was testing a new headlamp attached to my FEL. Dumbazz made the cord too
short so I could not raise the bucket high enough to properly aim the lamp?! I cudda stayed out longer -to let it get darker- but I got 'code'. Cheers.
