Ya'll know what they look like so I won't bother posting pics. Anywho, man, what a cool toy, errmm, tool. With a 20 minute orientation the day before at the dealer and an hour spent reading the safety warnings, I mean Operators Manual, I was mowing and clearing brush immediately.
I'm taken with how simple and intuitive the controls are. The tractor seems to have plenty of power. With less than an hour on the clock, it's and mine, I'm certainly not pushing anything.
Due to another thread I was very conscience of the PTO. Would it make noise? At either low or high RPM's (from idle to within the 540 PTO range) hooked up to the Brush Hog, I advanced the throttle and retarded the throttle, clutch in, clutch out, engaged the PTO and disengaged the PTO, while mowing and while stationary - I tried it all. Perhaps time will tell, but the PTO simply started and stopped with no unusual mechanical noises, clatters, groans, or cuss words. Just as I had expected.
So, glad my toy, ummm , I mean tractor, is finally safe and sound in the barn and very glad that I chose the tractor that I chose.
Cedar trees, say your prayers...
