My previous tractor was a B7500, I put 400hrs on it in the three yrs I had it. I dug up stumps with backhoe, worked gravel driveway, dug out a pond for fill dirt in low areas (still working on this one) mowed and the only reason I don't have it anymore is I needed more height on the FEL to be able to dump into a dump trailer I half own.
You mentioned digging a small pond, if you want it done relatively quick I recommend a bulldozer.
If you need the fill dirt for odd landscaping work over time then get a small dump trailer for the long distance trips.
A boxblade is the best digging tool for this application and a tothbar will help but I don't recommend trying to do all the digging with FEL.
