My intro

Hi,
I'm Bert Bottom and I have 15 acres of woods and brush on Whidbey Is Washington. In Dec I bought a John Deere 4720 4x4 hydrostatic drive tractor.
I have a backhoe, landscape rack, Anbo front grappler (most useful implement so far), HD brush hog, and box scraper.
I'm in the make a mess stage while I try to learn how and when to use each item.
I retired from the Navy after 26 years as an Aviation Electronics Tech Chief petty officer. I then retired from Seattle Police dept Info tech Dept.
I'm practicing Christian (Ind. Baptist variety), and the Churches Senior group leader. I致e been married 37 years to same woman.
I have 3 kids and 2 grandkids. I like hunting and fishing and cars. I've learned to be a handyman from years of having to fix it myself. I like the Red Green show and have (with buddies help) repurposed an old school bus into a mobile hunting lodge as cheaply as possible with what's lying around and surplus parts.
After all, Duct tape IS the handyman痴 secret weapon!
Well, I guess that's about it.

Nice equipment! I'd like to have the backhoe, but my JD CUT won't really mount one. Just moved down from a bigger tractor (JD 2030) because I've been retired 10 years and getting up on a big old unit is hard on the knees. '

I applaud your faith and long marriage. My wife and I will mark 45 years this year - with three kids and five grandkids so far.
