My Intro...

Hello! I've made a verbal deal to buy a tractor that will be delivered to me this weekend. It's a 2023 LS MT235e with some warranty left and enough use-hours to feel slightly more comfortable that it's not going to have odd ball mfg defects. I found this forum while doing a little research and wish to continue learning about my new tractor as well as others.
I have a small property that I plan to cut some trees off of and possibly start a hobby sawmill. My little ford tractor has no loader so I looked and found something that appears to fit my needs. Any opinions, good or bad, will be much appreciated. I have no strong opinions yet and am not the type to be brand-partial. I've found a few horror stories about LS and have my guard up. I know service and parts could be an issue but have found some hope that that will change and is being fixed. Who knows? I know it's a crap-shoot like most good deals are. So we'll see, I plan to help others on here by relaying my experience.

I got an XG3140H (40hp) in 2018 and have been very pleased, not sure how it compares to the MT235e, but in the XG series the 35 and 40 hp have the same engine. According to my dealer, he has had very little problems with that model. It could be that the MT235e has the same engine that I have (may even be a renamed XG3135), and if so, I would have a lot of confidence it.

Thanks for the confidence boost! I've been doing some searches for LS parts and feeling a little bit lonely. There isn't much information available for a three year old tractor that had a six year production history. (2019-2025) On the other hand, looking up my little 1710 leaves a lot to be desired and I've had very little issues with it. The MT235e's specs are very similar to the XG3135, so I would assume it shares many components. Thanks again for the pleasant greeting!
