Perfect building. Is that something you all had built or installed or did you put it up yourselves? Besides the tractor how much extra room do you for other things.

It was built by three native Spanish speakers in one long afternoon, in 100 degree heat. I got them some ice, and they said that was all they needed. I left them alone and they worked very hard. I have the rotary cutter in the back now, I am slowly thinking on how I want to shelve it out. Do I wish it was 4 foot wider,? You bet, and it if had any flat land here it would be, but I had to create all the "land" you see there. the pad cost as much as the building in just the rock. and for every foot you go wider, you are entering the land of "the law of diminishing returns" as each dump truck load of rock does less and less as you try to keep the pad level and the outboard side gets taller and taller, requiring more and more rock to just gain a few inches.

I know the feeling, I sure like the look of our "rolling hills", but it does have its drawbacks! I put up a shelterlogic tarp shed of similar dimensions and it did take a few hours of moving dirt to get a level spot for it... I'd rather have your building though! The shelterlogic is in a sheltered spot put every good blow I worry about it taking flight!

That is one sweet ride! I love your property, is it as secluded as it appears to be?

Not quite as secluded as it appears, In the summertime with full foliage you cannot see other houses, but in the winter they are in full view.. nearest is about 100 yards. The Kubota lived in a Dirkson building with its ROPS folded.. The Kioti weighs well over a 1000 lbs more in stated weight, and the loaded tires are quite a bit larger so more weight there also. And now with a canopy you cannot fold the ROPS, So a new home was in order.

No, Mr. Kubota, had it easy during his tour of duty here.:) It never spent a rainy night out in the cold. But the Kioti was just too big, and I really wanted (and greatly enjoy) the canopy, so a new "den" for the Kioti was needed. I knew it going in to the purchase, and that figured in to my plans. Of course I did the rock moving work myself with the Kioti. It put some hours on it pretty quickly. I am at 90 hours since April, but have really slowed down now that the pad is built. If you remember the delivery pictures including some shots of the Kubota's last day here, and it looked pretty clean..tractors look better if you keep them in a barn!
