I would not expect Kioti to step up and send letters out to the owners of these loaders. That would cause them to fix all of the loaders instead of just the ones that are reported. Also, don't be surprised when they design a fix for the loader and expect the consumer to pay to have the loader fixed. That's what they did for the KL1595 loaders. They charged a fair price for the loader new and then expected consumers to pony up another $1000-$1200 dollars (fix kit, shipping, and dealer installation) to fix the roll back issue. Some will say that the issues are different, but in the end, they are both faulty design issues that need to be resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

In addition, the company handles issues differently in different parts of the country (different dealers? different reps?). I know of one DK55/KL1595 combo that Kioti purchased back from the customer because of loader issues. I know of one DK55/KL1595 combo that Kioti fixed the loader issue under warranty. Finally, I know of one DK55/KL1595 combo that Kioti refused to fix under warranty.

I will be surprised if the company handles this issue any differently. In my opinion, the only reason this issue is getting more press than the KL1595 issue is because there are more owners of these loaders on the board.

For those of you having issues, I wish you good luck. My loader issues were never resolved to my satisfaction and my opinion of the brand has been scarred forever.

Indeed! Cheers, Jerry! 5000 posts and probably right near 5000 with usable content!

Disclaimer: I've been on my baby tractor since I got home at 5pm and have been drinking my fav beer, with ROPS up and seat belt on side-hilling with the BushHog, with no potential help for miles.

I think I've read most every post on this thread.
The only question I really have is, who cares? More specifically, has any real failure happened? Any exploding FEL's with resulting shrapnel destroying a man's beer? Ok, so I have another orange tractor. There was a guy on another thread that ( my tractor brand) had cracks in his FEL. So what! Weld it up and get some work done.

I've had the normal BX probs with mine and would not even consider contacting the dealer for any of them. I expect my warranty to cover, in full, major failure. Real failure of real systems or sub-systems. I'll take care of all the pea-ant stuff, if and when I have the desire. And the pea-ant stuff can get pretty big. It all depends on what I believe I am capable of at the time and how much damage the failure might, or did, produce.

I guess when I bought my tractor, I figured it was a tractor. I'd have to get used to it and give it a patch here and there when needed. If I had a pile of fragments sitting in one of my fields, I'd envoke the warranty. Otherwise, I have work to do ... as long as it lasts.

I can't imagine turning my baby loose with a hack that could do as bad a repair as I was capable of /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Cheers!
