I for one do not think this thread has out lived its usefulness but if KJ and Bob continue their war of words it will soon be necessary to close it.

This thread now serves as the collecting point for information on the loader crack and repair issues. That is arguably one of the most important owning/operating issues facing all CK owners right now. Let's not screw it up by pursuing personal animosities.

To correct one thing John mentioned, I have generally been pretty clear that what I want first from Kioti is simply for them to make a statement acknowledging this loader cracking problem. That is a pretty obvious thing to do in the modern business environment. They should read their own mission statement regarding dedication to their customers. They did not even acknowledge that to my dealer earlier this week when he called for service support. Later this week (today) after I had sent my dealer the list generated by Bearhawk, the regional rep did talk to my dealer and acknowledged the problem and that Kioti was in the middle of discussions with the loader builder (in Korea). I have stated pretty clearly in several posts that I understand it will take some time to engineer and test a better repair. I just don't understand why the company is being so tight lipped and feel it is hurting their reputation and my confidence in them.

After looking at the written warranty I am also concerned that the language in that warranty allows Kioti to walk away from this issue 12 months after tractor purchase regardless of continuing (potential) cracking problems. I think they should be fair to people who are going to check their loaders for the first time after 12 months for example. Wouldn't that include you John? Whatever the ultimate explanation is for these cracks (design, materials, etc), it seems now abundantly clear that a high enough percentage of loaders are affected that the company owes its customers some sort of program to repair when cracks are first discovered after 12 months.

In any case, my main point right now is to ask that Bob and John take their perpetual cat fight to another thread so this one can stay open and useful. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I made a simple statement that Joe should have been given a loaner so that he can get his cutting done. Under the circumstances, and considering that the dealer was the one who sent the loader to a bum welder, I think that would have been fair. The "perpetual cat fight" is always caused by Bob's incessant need to twist my words and bring up the negative details of the thread so that noone will be likely to forget them.

I'm not just going to stand by and see my words reiterated incorrectly, just as you have now done when you considered that I misrepresented your words. If I have, I stand corrected, and apologize to you.

"This thread has become as non-productive as any I have ever seen. Isn't it amazing that a certain moderator, who has ended lesser controversies much sooner has chosen to allow this crap to continue.
John "

I must say that I do not agree with that statement. From a person that was very close to buying a Kioti Ck... a year ago, I think this thread is needed. Kioti needs to see how people can band together to get a problem noticed/taken care of. This should be a recall problem for all owners with issues now, and in the future. This just happens to be Kioti. It doesn't matter what name is on whatever problem, I think all manufacturers can take something home from this post.
I like the fact that so many people are getting involved here. Especially the non Kioti owners. That should raise eyebrows at Kioti. I know Dargo has mentioned he was interested in the past about Kioti as I was. That means they(Kioti) are a potential purchase in the future for us. Kioti needs to step up, or chance loosing future buyers. Again, you can replace the word "Kioti" with John Deere, Kubota, whoever......
Once Kioti steps up and does the right thing, then we can pat them on the back. At that point, I will again add them into the mix of potential future tractors. Until that point, well....... I can't honestly say I will tell my friends to look that direction.

AGAIN....I'M NOT WRITING BECAUSE IT IS A KIOTI THING, THESE ARE TBN BROTHERS THAT ARE NOT BEING TREATED FAIRLY! Lets look out for them first, then we can worry about everything else.

No one has clicked on the Notify Moderator button.

BTW, the people who 'allow this crap to continue' are the ones who keep responding to perceived provocation/insult. In squabbles like this, all it takes is for the wiser of the 2 parties to quit responding, which ends it.

OK, after a few hours of cooling off /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif let's see if this thread can continue in the true spirit of TBN. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
