That's a really cute story about how she wanted to "help" you and ride on the tractor. I can imagine her sleeping in the cab, how cute. Very wise not to let her help with the splitting. My brother and I used to help my dad split firewood with a sledge hammer and a wedge. One time the wedge started to fall out, my brother reached up to put it back in place just as my dad swing the sledge hammer. He couldn't stop it in time and caught one of his fingers between the sledge and the wedge. Squished his finger right off.
They managed to sew it back on, but it pretty much ruined the day.
On a lighter note, so you saw my little girl's first tractor, well here's her second. My wife always wants to get tree ornaments for each year. Here's what my little girl wanted:
