Wow !! What a view !

Here's a few more. Some are looking toward Mt. Washington, some are toward the lake. It will have a 270 degree view +- if they decide to trim everything back to where it was at one time. I can see from Mid NH all the way around to Southern Maine. Up on the hill from the tower they claim to be able to see from the Atlantic Ocean to Vt.

And one of the stone tower up top.

A couple more pics. Rapidly changing from snow to mud. Had to quit yesterday as the landing had about a foot of slop.

Roads are all posted, so hauling is at a standstill except for early morning when things are frooze-up.

Nice pine:cool:. Sorta looks like the western white pine around here. Our roads are posted here too. Drying out wickedly quick though, with the lack of spring rain. With those tryggs, you are in good shape for slop navigation. They are the chain of choice for extreme duty logging around here. I got 1300 hours out of a set on the JD 648-G III, not bad for a 48,000 lb. machine that roles around on rock, stumps and mud everyday while pulling two and a half ton of trees behind its-self:D

Glad the weather be kind to you compare to what might have been.

I'll keep my fingers cross as you pull hard before the rains arrive.

I didn't do any logging this winter, the ground never properly froze up in the wet areas so my woods would have been torn up quite a bit. You got quite a deal on that winch, I paid 1600 for a similar Farmi and it was considered a deal!

Yep it has been nice for a couple of days :) ...........but it looks like rain is on it's way.

Atgreene; Now when did you want me to come and get those logs? :D

They're on the landing waiting to be hauled. Excavator is sitting there, I can load you just as easy as I can load the truck.:D

Here's a couple pics from my log landing on the mtn. Looking out at Mt. Washington, the sun hitting the snow made for a couple nice pics.
