I'm really surprised, we've used the loaders HARD on all of our tractors without problems.

I am guessing your dealer will want to look at it before deciding on warranty issues, do you have KTAC, sometimes they will pay for damage?

If it does need to be ground down/ welded I would say not to have the Kubota dealer do it. I would go to a welding shop. Yeah there might be someone at the shop that welds occasionally but they will charge you dealer labor rates for an inferior job. Go to a welding shop where the guy there welds on a daily basis, is probably certified and will probably have lower labor rates.

Depending on what you were doing and other circumstances, I would say that the dealer should take care of it as a courtesy.

Did you buy the tractor new?If so I would want a new loader. From my understanding these loaders are powder coated which is tougher than paint and it will be hard to make a repair that doesn't show.If you bought it used then it is a different story.

i have insurance thourgh kubota i put 4 hours on the tractor if i have to pay to fix on the weld that will take 4-5 days to fix 1500 to 2000 in repairs wy should i pay that a defective fel

Sounds like defective materials and workmanship to me. At 4 hours, they should replace the loader unless you were trying to move Mount Rushmore.

What were you doing when it cracked? I would be looking for a new loader. After all the whole thing was built on the same line at the same time. If there was a glitch in the system that day I don't want it to be my problem.

I don't think so. If was a manufactures defect, loader was not abused and there are only 4 hours on a new tractor my experience is they will stand behind it. Kubota replace a faulty FOPS on one of my tractors when it was well out of warranty. Work with your dealer first and go to the regional manager if that doesn't work.

I agree with MarkV, I will be surprised if you are out any money, but they are going to have to look at and examine it first, a faulty weld will be easy to spot as opposed to abuse.

I can't see how anyone here could give advice without some pictures (or at least a sensible description that isn't written like a text message from a teen).

Interesting... TripleR, did you happen to notice the thread on repairing the old Kubota bucket I sometimes use on my new Kioti? the weld on that bucket edge, in my opinion was maybe not "faulty" but substandard as compared to the right side weld in the same location..I never thought of trying to make Kubota fix that:).. kinda hard to explain what it was doing on a Kioti in the first place.. I just welded it up, and went on... I am wondering what welds and where on the loader (bucket? or arms? or what) are broken? on his new Kubota. Perhaps a description of the broken pieces

Could you fill us in on what exactly is broken on your new Kubota Loader?.. some pictures from a digital camera would go a long way to help us understand the problem.. you mentioned sending pictures to the dealer in the first post of this thread? Is it the bucket? the SSQA? the loader arms? Mounts? or what exactly? And yes we have heard several times how the old Case was/is quite superior to these new Kubota machines you have acquired lately.
