I have had quite a few pm's about my loader sorry I have not had time to answer everyone so here is a blanket answer,
I dont have plans I built it from scratch over the course of a winter. I have these pics and I could take more if someone has a specific question.

Looks great.
What, if any, are its limits? say for oak (dense hardwood).

Intrigued by the rotation of the grapple (as well as the whole setup).

Is this prototype, or final product? :)

Nicely done. Any outriggers to prevent 'tippage'? (Is that a word?):D ~Scotty

Pretty neat! How heavy of a log do you think it will pick up? What is the max diameter log it can grab?

Beenthere: I think it's a long term situation he has 2 younger brothers, so I'm good for at least another 10 or 15 years.

unless your grandson can lift 600 lbs and hold it while I buck it up I got ya beat, 28" betwen grapple teeth whil open , the side away from the boom has a slide out stabilizer .

You can tell who's getting old ;)

Awesome project! Looks rugged too. I'm sure it must take a while to get used to the multiple levers and become somewhat productive.

Thank you for sharing :)

I'm scared to think about how much $$$ you have invested in just hydraulic hoses.
