Well I am getting used to the BX2350 with the FEL, 50" 3PT blower and 5' rear blade. What a great combination to effectively move snow around my business lot. I have the turf tires and have yet to get stuck, even driving through deeper snow.
Someone however was looking out for me when I was using the blower the other day. I started to hear some pinging coming from the blower and figured that perhaps a small object was making its way around the auger. I was almost done blowing so I just kept going.
I shut down the rear PTO to move the tractor to another location and when I reengaged the PTO the tractor quit. I looked at the second stage fan on the blower and one of the paddles was jammed outside and up against the encloser it rides in.
I pondered the situation trying to figure out what happened when my neighbor stopped by and quickly pointed out the center bolt that holds the second stage fan assembly in place was completely missing.
Now I am not afraid of much but I would not have wanted to be on the tractor if the second stage would have shifted while under full PTO rpm's. Under closer examination I found the majority of bolts on the blower to barely tight at best.
My suggestion based on my experience is not to trust that the setup guys or manufactures locked down all the hardware and to make sure that everything is torqued down when hanging a new attachment on the tractor.
Love the tractor and can't wait for more snow!
