It would be nice if you completed your Bio so that we may see where you reside as well as your equipment and toys.

I updated the profile. There's not enough room to list all the toys, though. I'm upgrading from my 12K lb Cross Country bumper pull trailer to a Pequa 16K lb goosneck. I plan on trailering the M105X with my Ram 3500 diesel.

I also trailer round baleage. I'm hoping to get 12- 4x4 wrapped bales on the Pequa where I could only get 8 on the Cross Country. I've got to travel about 1 hour one-way to get organic hay.

I've also got a Pronovost 3 ton electric/hydraulic dump trailer that I'm afraid to pull loaded with the L3830. I'm sure the M105 won't have a problem pulling it up hills.

Daryl,
Nice to see your new M. I'm sure you'll get a lot of satisfaction out of the new rig. It is a big step up in size over the 5030.

I need to get a set of those pallet forks. There's a lot of stuff that I could use those for.

It is a BIG step up over the 5030, physical size wise and power wise. The "getting used to the thing curve" is pretty great even though my 1085 is a little bigger, it has no FEL, just an implement puller. Don't have to worry about the wife running it, she is intimidated by it. Actually, she likes the 1085 with the multi-power.

My recommendation, get the Kubota forks. My partner has a cheaper set and they aren't holding up too well. He's getting a Kubota set for the 105 this spring. The Kubota set have drop forged, tempered forks just like a high/low. They are even serial numbered. The carrier is real stout and it has a strong back gard. I can pick up a ton pallet on the outer half of the forks and the deflect very little. They were a little pricey (around $800.00), but you get what you pay for. They are worth it. I learned that lesson with FEL buckets. You get a material bucket (cheaper) than the excavation bucket (expensive) and the cheaper bucket cracks on the ends.
