For some reason that link opens very slowly and if you have dialup or a slow connection, you may timeout before it opens.
For some reason, I don't think It's me

Well maybe you will get lucky and a buildup of methane gas from the raw sewage under his house will ignite and knock the house off the foundation so he will have to move...

If he denies cutting a tree on his property how does he explain that new stump? If the tree hit your house I assume someone had to come on to your property to clean it up. With that kind of neighbor I would make it clear that if he was seen on my property law enforcement would be called. Not the most desirable solution but some people can’t be dealt with any other way.

By the way, I know of a nice 70 acre tract for sale in N. Georgia that you can’t see any neighbors from.

From a poem by Robert Frost.."Mending Wall"

He only says, 'Good fences make good neighbors'.
Spring is the mischief in me, and I wonder
If I could put a notion in his head:
'Why do they make good neighbors? Isn't it
Where there are cows?
But here there are no cows.
Before I built a wall I'd ask to know
What I was walling in or walling out,
And to whom I was like to give offence.......

.....He says again, "Good fences make good neighbors."

There should also be some damage to the ground/grass from where the tree hit and saw dust from cutting the tree up unless the guy just dragged it off his land in which there will be a lot of damage.

I don't think this is a case of the guy denying cutting the tree, it is a case of the guy having no balls and refusing to admit he made a mistake. Good neighbors laugh over things like this. Neighbors who don't get along laugh at each other. I dispised living in town for the short while I did. My neighbor was not very neighborly. He would never say a word to me but would pile all the limbs that fell on his place on my land behind my shed. His garbage would blow onto my land and he would drive across my land just so he didn't have to move his other car. Our driveways were next to each other with just a few feet of grass in between so normally I wouldn't care as long as the grass was hard. But a stick fell on his driveway so he tossed it a few feet so it landed on my side of the boundry line. Over the one winter I didn't have the tractor down there so I had to shovel my driveway out. This guy never drove across my land that winter to get around his car until after I shoveled my drive out. I tried being nice and saying hi to him when I would see him but he never would say anything and would just go inside. So last winter I plowed all my snow on the property line and would plow my other neighbors driveways that were friends of mine but I refused to offer my help to him and he never asked (even as he was shoveling out over 1' of wet heavy snow).

My new house is located on a 20 acre parcel next to my parents 140 acres so I have them for a neighbor and since I store all my equipment there (well before I bought the new house) it works out nice for me. The neighbor on the other side is kind of annoying but it could be worse. He made an arrangement with my old friend who use to live in my new house (he passed away) and he uses the second drive leading to the barn and main drive thru the propery. He maintains that driveway and in front of my barn (he turns around there to park behind his house). So I do not have too much to say bad about the guy except that he comes over and talks way too much. And it is always when I am trying to work. Of course he also uses part of my property as his lawn but I marked all the property boundries with T-post just so I always know where they are. He can do what ever he wants on that section to hide the post but they are either in a ditch or along side a ditch so they are not in the section he mows.

I wish you the best Mr Jimi with your current neighbor but if he has been this way in the past and hasn't shown any chance of changing I think you might want to consider finding a larger section with plenty of road frontage and move. You will never regret it but you will always have a headache next door where you currently live. Hopefully things don't get any worse then they are now.

When he cut his tree, he damaged his chain link fence and took out his cable TV wire and hit my home, all I did was ask him why he didn't tell me it hit my home? He is a basket case, I told him to call the cops on me again, he did, they never come out :D :D
He is the one that needs to leave or change his ways
Robert, he is one of those stupid people in your signature

Had one like this. Eventually his drinking caught up with him. Maybe something about 5 days in the icu after bingeing had something to do with it. Used to be fairly popular, now just waiting to evaporate and blow away.

I don't know about most vacuums but all my vacuum ever does is sit in the broom closet collecting dust!
