I like the 4WD...
Maybe its a "Want" not a need, but if you can afford it, do it.
If you are an Agribusiness guy and have to justify all costs, then... maybe you do not need 4WD.
Anything the 2WD can do the 4WD can do better.....
Nice Tractor!
What are you using it for?

I have a 8ft pull type with hyd. lift. I have a drag made out of a couple of 3" pipes welded together with angle iron that I pull behind the disc for the finishing touch. It does a nice job.

Do you have a pic of this? I'd like to see it/tips on how you welded it level.

Yes, I'm new to welding!

I don't have any pictures of it right now, but I will try to make some when I get a chance. My Dad and I made the drag several years ago. It was just kind of a "throw together" but it does a good job.

Over 14 years later…….Not so new blue has racked up 1000hrs. The tractor has served me well with only a clutch problem. Looking forward to many more hours (hopefully for both of us)

1,000 hours ? Looks more like 10,000 hours. That’s a very nice tractor and it’s great to hear it has worked out so well for you.

It took me a minute to see the decimal place as well, so I also read 10k hours at first!

Don't get me wrong, 1k is great, but I was on the verge of actual amazement.

Congratulations OP on picking a solid machine, may you two have many more hours together!

It would probably have more hours on it now but I have had a few surgeries along the way that kept me off of the tractor for a while each time. This tractor's primary job is running a 10ft semi-mount rotary cutter, but I use it for many other things as well.
