My new BX 2370 has arrived

Speaking of grill guards... That will be the first extra I purchase. I can get a Kubota one for reasonable price, but I have also seen 2 others with front receivers and one of them allows for easy removal of the guard from the frame. Any comments on pro's and cons out there?

I thought all Kubota front loaders came with grill guards standard?? At least that's the case on larger tractor models.

It's an option on the BX's at least, not too expensive but after using the FEL to toss the compost pile i can see i'll want one quickly. Unfortunately there are several choices to pick from. :)

Congrats. Just finally got mine last Thursday and have put it to work pretty good already over the weekend. Mine came with grill guard as did my L3800 when I bought it. I didn't ask for them, so thought they were standard with a loader. As a matter of fact, this tractor had been on the lot with no grill guard and dealer had to order the loader. The grill guard was installed at same time without my mentioning it.

I opted for an aftermarket one that I had made for me. Its HEAVY DUTY and like you mentioned had a built in receiver on the front and a hook. I had it painted Kubota frame grey and it looks sharp on the tractor. Much better and was cheaper than the OEM Kubota version. It is not however folding and must be unbolted to remove grill but shoot that takes me 3 minutes and I only have to remove for oil changes once a year so that's no big deal. I can send you info and pic of it if you like. Just PM me. Love the tractor by the way, have the same one myself but no loader. Debating now whether to get the loader or trade on a bx25d.

I opted for the one from Earth and Turf. When i started the specification process the FEL was not part of the picture, but i am now glad i added it. I keep coming up with great projects for it.

I like that Earth and Turf guard, especially the quick removal- but what are the tear dropped shaped opening at the top sides for?

Here is the pic. It's fabworksoem.net. Give him a call, a great guy! We talked for over 20 min about what I wanted and he completely delivered.

I don't know what those tear drop cut out are for, maybe for drag reduction. :)

I looked at the fab works unit as well and like what it had as well, it was a close 2nd. I think the easy removal was the deciding factor for me.

Speaking of fast... I ordered my guard on Monday from Earth and Turf in PA., it was on my doorstep Tuesday afternoon. I took me 5 minutes to find my 1/2 drive ratchet and a 3/4 socket and 5 minutes to install.
