my new ck 20 hst loses power /rpms??

please is there a dealer out there that has seen this problem before ? I need help !! at least to have some knowledge before my dearler shows up so that I can give them some dirrection .Thanks Harry

Is it an intermittent problem or can you recreate it at will? If so is it the loader/3PH hydraulics that load it down or the HST hydraulics? Maybe if you can narrow it down to something specific it will help your dealer and you get to the the problem quicker.

It occures while I was box scraping and the loader was just up about grill level no load,it also occured just going up a slight grade with the box up and the loader lifted at grill level and no load at all range in low .The rpms go down and I ease off the pedal and it still stalls out ,but sometimes if it happen I will drop down both the box/loader to the ground and sometimes the rpms go back up or just go up and down before it settles down .I dont have a clue..Thank for your reply.

Being that this is an '06, I'm guessing it got some very old fuel in it. And being that it's a diesel, I'm guessing algae growth too.

I suggest you tell your dealer to bring out a new fuel filter (possibly a few) and some fuel treatment to kill any possible algae growth.

my first guess is fuel, fuel filter, or fuel delivery problem. This would create a lack of power you are explaining.

thanks to all for your response ,Today the dealer came and the tractor did not act up at all,then when he left the tractor stalled out and I couldn't get it started.The dealer sent a flat bed and a shop guy how followed the fuel line (and u guys were right) as he disconnected the line from the bottom of the tank no fuel came out(1/2 a tank on broad)then it begin to drizzel out ,some crap came out and then it was free following ,reconnected the tube and it started right up.They took it to the shop for fuel problems and hope to get it back real soon.Again thanks to all ...Harry

Harry, consider using some PowerService diesel fuel additive in your fuel after situation is corrected to keep everything happy in the future. I run it continuously.

Although Powerservice is a good product to raise cetane, increase lubricity and keep diesel from gelling, I'd recommend a diesel biocide for diesels that sit for long periods of time. Algae growth causes havoc with diesel fuel systems.

why does the loader and box blade drop when the engine stalls, I have a gear machine and if the engine is shut off the loader will stay up, have you got a leaking valve somewhere in the hydraulic system
