My new L3400

John, got the exact same as yours Weds. I was a little intimidated for a couple minutes getting used to the controls. Spent Thurs mowing and half Fri. I went slow as there are a lot of stumps, most low, but a few higher ones in the weeds. I got about 7 out of 10 acres chopped down and it looks great. I broke a shear pin on a stump but that was easy to fix. I accidently pushed over a medium sized tree not looking where I was going. Tough tractor, just went through and over it like it wasn't there. I hope you enjoy yours like I am enjoying mine. I can reccommend it to anyone.

Hi Dennis, hope you have a ball with your L3400. I have 5 hours on mine so far. This weekend I purchased 4 high bush blueberry bushes from a farm stand that is goind out of business. These things are huge, 7 feet tall and with the root ball they weighed close to 300 LBs. They loaded them into my truck with a large backhoe. Could only take 2 at a time. The Kubota came in real handy for digging the new holes and for getting the bushes out of the back of my pickup. I should have taken some pictures. I can't wait to get my bush hog.

I will second bigmike on the toothbar suggestion, they are tough to beat, and as he said easy to install and remove. Got mine in ONE day after ordering it, and like mike had to pick it up at the terminal, but hey it is five minutes from work........and on my way anyway.

Great bars, and it will improve the bucket for digging and tearing out much more than bucket alone.

Nice rig, and my cars sit outside also
