Nice looking tool, I would have it smashed off in like 10 minutes. If I didn't have it busted clean off in like 5 minutes chances are I would pinch the thing and flip my tractor over.

Can I buck firewood with it while I sit in the cab?

Just kidding but I would smash it off in no time, Fred

its tougher than you think with the heavy wall tubing.
i was backing up after a cut thinking i was clear and took out a very large limb with just the mast striking it

Limbinator is a knockoff.
the guy used to work for Limbhog.
he uses cheaper material and is being sued for patent infringement by the owner of Limbhog.

I have the Limbsaw, bought at the Farm & Gin Show last year in Memphis from the owner. My unit weighs 90# and works great. Priefert does the manufacturing and he sells them. Very useful tool that will keep woodlines and trails clear up where Chainsaws can't.

How does the functionality (and price) of one of these compare with one of the rotatable tree shears (like Hydra Nip, Kansas Klipper, Timberline TBL, or Hy Reach or [my favorite!] Teleclipper)? The advantage of a tree shear like these is that you can also cut standing trees. The shears weigh a lot more than the the limbhog and I'd guess cost is, to a degree, relative to weight.

My question is;what do you do if the blade binds in a limb?

3rd function valve allows you to reverse the chain and back you out

the limbhog receiver makes for a nifty spot for a hook when you're not using the tool.

To avoid ... Saw from the top not side - a foot or so from the tree ... then do same at tree.

3rd function valve allows you to reverse the chain and back you out
This doesnt help. The chain is not a screw. Neither is the bar.
