My new NH T1510 finally arrived

It has been raining for about a week up here.

I finally got out and played around with it today.

I found that the 20 or so 8 foot high piles of fill that the sewer / water project has dumped in my lot for free....is way too "clay-ee" and heavy when soaked. (although the construction company will level them for me too...I just wanted to play)

Darn thing had the back tires off the ground more than on the ground trying to dig at the piles! Even 1/2 buckets were HEAVY

Also...the lot was so wet that I got the chance to try out the 4 wheel drive a lot. And it sure came in handy.

So...a lot of mud.

Then it started pouring again this afternoon and I had to park it

Hopefully it will clear up for a week or 2 before we get that lovely snow CRAP

Great lookin' machine! Maybe it's time to load those back tires.

Those are the kind of payments I like, one. Haven't been able to do that my whole life, but I've been blessed in recent years.

the rears are loaded with Rim Guard

something like 46 gallons each which is supposed to equal about 493 pounds of ballast

It seemed to be noticable in the mud...the fronts would spin more freely than the rears..

Actually, I cannot honestly remember if the rears spun at all when I got it in deep mud.

So I guess that means that the stuff I was trying to pick up musta been really...really heavy

or maybe the tires weren't "actually" off the ground much.....maybe it was just in my mind as the front end would squat and the back end seemed to raise up

Congrats on your new T1510! Great pics too. Just don't let your wife drive it too much- mine keeps asking when she can cut some grass You will love your hydro, I've put almost 30 hours on my t1510 so far this year and it's a great machine.
