Congratulations! Nice tractors! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Do you think you could post a couple of pictures of the grill guard on the TN 65? I need to finish mine out and I wanted to take a look at how they hinged that one. Thanks!

<font color="blue"> ( Not used to posting so Pineridge I tried to "Copy" your quote and use different Font Color. If it did not work out I'm sorry. )

Welcome Skoalman! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

And as a vet myself, I too want to thank you for your service. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Now to business. Quoting somoene is very easy. The way I do it is to hit the reply button on the post that you want to quote from. Then when the reply window opens, go down to the post and copy the text that you want to quote. Now go back to the reply window, and at the bottom right hand corner, you'll see the options available. Click on quote, and you'll see the quote feature show up in the reply window. then just paste your copied text between quote feature and it'll show up as <font color="blue"> Blue </font> when you post your reply. Easy! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Garry I have always been curious, what's the difference between hitting quote in this case or the color blue instead? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Six of one, a half dozen of another?

bgott, I will be more than happy to take some pictures after the tractor arrives. But basically it is the old style bumper with instead of arms that are straight back as in the old style of tractor it wrps back under itself. There are two holes and they have bolted from the Bumper to these two holes underneath the grill. One picture and will clear it up. I had never seen this style of Old Bumper on the New Tractors. I like it because it has the Wagon Pin Hole (I can't back a wagon that good) so I switch ends and this bumper allows me to do that (Without FEL On) But tractor is due next week and will help as much as I can with the pictures! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

P.S. Gofgar/Pineridge, I just tried you method of Reply/Quote and I think you may have helped me with the quoting part! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Well,
had another Great Experience today. I had told the salesmen at my Dealership about TBN and what a Great Site it was and all the Great Things and Ideas that I had learned. Went by this afternoon and got the opportunity to show them the post with the tractor pictures and they were impressed! The owner of the place and the two salesmen were all three checking out TBN. So, I felt like I did my TBN duty for the day. One of the salesmen I have known since I started school and he is Die-hard Kubota. The other salesmen owns a New Holland TL90 2 WD for his 200 + acre hay operation. So, guess we will get to see them posting in the near future. So, far been a Great Dealership to Deal with (Tractor NOT Delivered yet!) /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I know that between hay, tobacco and tomatoes in our area they sell a bunch. So, glad I could do my TBN duty for the day! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

If you hit the quote button you get those parenthesis when the post is viewed. Also, because of the bug if you edit a reply of yours in which you quoted, the markup will be messed up and the entire post turned blue. I don't know if this has been fixed as I haven't tried it. When I "quote" I use the color instead of the quote function.

I know you'll enjoy the TN65; I had one for a couple of years and they are great tractors.
Glad to see that you've made it to retirement too. Seems like I stay more "hooked up" now since I retired in 2000 than before. Makes you wonder how you ever had time for other duties! Enjoy you tractor and being back home close to Dad.

Glen9643,
Glad to see you made it to retirement too! I loved the Army and spent the better part of my youth and all of my adulthood wearing Boots and BDU's with a Ruck on my back. But glad I did retire when I did. My wife had some Major Medical problems and that was the prompter that their is more to life and that family will be there long after the Boots wear out. I have noticed that there are several Retiree's on here, so guess my dreams were not that far off mark.

At my retirement party most everyone was kidding me about going back to Tennessee and being a farmer. You know I am kind of proud to be a Hillbilly and a farmer. I sent everyone of them pictures of the TN and told them they were welcome to come try it out anytime. I have already had a couple of replies askign if I was serious. So, even more than farmers dream of tractors. Guess it is like the Little Boy and Red Fire Engines. It is just natural isn't it! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Oh Yes Glen,
I forgot to post this in the last one. Man you are absolutely correct about "Additional Duties" and having time. Man I never dreamed that my Wife did as much as she did. I swear she is the "Saint" to put up with my craziness, the Army, Calls at every hour of the night, being gone for Months on end! I just never really realized how much she did for day to day life. So, I haven't really retired, I just had a MAJOR CHANGE OF CAREER! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif So, Thank God for Good Wives!

She was even excited about the Tractor too. I borrowed my Dad's last year to Bush Hog off the place and I actually got her on it. Should have seen the smile and all the bragging to the other Army wives! They thought she had lost her mind. She had NEVER been around Farming or Farm Equipment before in her life.
