The tires are R4's
I am looking at EA attachments for the grapple. I just realized I am right down the road about 20 minutes from them.
Congrats on such a nice bargain...!!!
So implements, having come from a CK4010HST I can share that you can get UP to a 5' medium duty cutter. It will cover tire track fine and leave a nice cut.
The medium duty cutters are about 200+lbs heavier then a light duty cutter, If you need one to cut 2" sized brush. If your area is just grass and less then 2" brush then a light duty will serve you well.
It will handle a 6 box blade easily. My Ag Armstrong is 610 lbs or so and it had no issues cutting swales and pulling dirt. Just have to get time to see how much or hard you can work it and will serve you well.
Landscape rake for field cleanup is better then stooping over picking up large limbs. Then you grapple can scoop it all up.
Man can't get over how well you did on the deal; awesome man just awesome....
Water filled tires will help put more work to the ground. I can tell you after 250 hours on the 4010 this machine is a work hoss...you will really enjoy the amount of work you can get done.
Like posted already, but to add the FEL manual has the torque specs for most all bolt sizes.
So check rims, loader bolts and ROPS bolts.
Also, I'd recommend a chain vise grip oil filter tool. The new filters are cranked on there and then get a heavy coat of paint. So the 50 hours service can be a breeze with the right tool the first time out.
I can't explain how or why but when checking out the hyd. fluid do not take the first reading as the correct fluid level. It will always read below low level.
Remove dip stick wipe clean reinsert and then you will get correct level indication.
Congrats again...... :drink:
Wow, wish I could find that deal myself.
Oh right, things to check:
Loader and wheel bolts - re-torque to spec (edit: don't loosen and re-torque, just set your torque wrench and check if they are still tight enough). Hopefully none are loose, but it can happen.
I would find every grease point and inspect/clean/grease.
Check hydraulic and engine lube oil levels/condition. Coolant too.
Might as well put some wax on it now too, if the body panels and big frame areas are still clean enough!
