Looks great, I am envious. I am still looking for a good Super A with belly mower or sickle bar cutter. I love those old Farmalls. I have part of an A for some parts now... oh well. My winter time project is painting and spiffing up my IH 2444/444. It works great but looks a bit ugly and needs a couple of seals and such.

Very nice. The hood color is interesting. I have never seen red/white on a Cub (not that I am a connoseuer), only yellow/white. Someone did a good job of fixing it up though. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Raymond Lowey did a nice job of designing tractors. I sold a Super "A" with an L-59 Woods belly mower about a year ago. I ran out of room in the barn and I never used it much. It was a dual fuel model and I was the 2nd owner. it was a '41 and I got over $2500.00 for it. I even had the Original factory manuals for it and the original bill of sale. If I remember, it sold for $350.00 new. The guy who bought it almost fainted when I handed him the manual and bill of sale.

The previous owners were horse farmers.. big money.. and this was the wifes 'lawnmower'... it lived in a garage for the last 20 years and got serviced by the local case dealership so they say.. i have to admit.. it is the cleanest one I've seen yet.. so i had to get it...

Probably just mowing around the house in the well maintained pasture area and the areena, where it is harder to get the bigger tractors in... perhaps use it to push up and /or spread the maneuer pile now and then.. it would save me time from pulling the NAA out and hitching the boxblade up, as this one has a front blade...

I finally found the serial number and it looks like it is a 1966. The owner sold it as a 51, but I'm not complaining... it is clean and runs.. and as a 66' it has a 12v electrical system.. and should be a tad easier to find parts for.. and of course.. is just plain newer than a 51. So I'm not bothered by the discrepency

Yeah, I found out it is a 66.. but I'm still tickled to own it.

Nice looking tractors... Beautiful turfs on the red one!
Though I like ag tires on tractors.. i must say that i also like the looks of the turfs my NAA has.. I just hate the price of buying them!
