And no, I did not shoot from the tractor,I had to get 100yds.
from the road in order to shoot.
then I stood on my head,backwards, and used a mirror to
shoot thru the scope, while he was at a full run.
We oregonians are crack shots.

Thats what they teach here in our schools anyway.

Tell your wife to marinate a venison roast or steak in whole milk for a minimum of 12 hours in the fridge... She'll MAKE you hunt illegally after that........ It removes 90% of the wild smell and taste, and tenderizes the meat.

Leave it out in the sun for a while if it seems too tough. Sun has a way of softening up meat. bw

ps, in MD shooting a deer is too easy. I use a fly rod and a good bit of backing, also a semi heavy tippet.
