Do you think I could get by with just the advanced chute system and the mulching blades? I'm not after a "manicured" look, I just want to avoid having to rake leaves.

I am sure that you will get good service out of the Bad Boy. I almost bought one last year and would have if the dealer had been a little closer. They seem to be well built. I bought a Snapper Pro S150x instead mostly due to the local dealer. I have had very good service from it.

I will caution you about teaching your wife to mow with it. I taught my wife to use ours and now she does all of the mowing and I seldom set foot on the machine. Wait...what was it I have to complain about?

She does however allow me to do all of the trimming.

I'm having second thoughts about teaching her how to use the new mower. I actually enjoyed mowing for the first time with the ZTR, although that feeling may pass. I'm afraid that I will be assigned other chores if she takes over the mowing duties.
