My NH dealer is gone

Which dealer went away? I am also from central Indiana and bought my TC from Miller equipment in Greensburg, IN. I have not been there in a few months so I was wondering if that was them.

Thanks,
Mike

I don't know if this is the case with the dealer you are speaking of BUT,
NH went thru a "Cleansing" a few months ago.
I don't know the criteria for getting rid of dealers but one that had just started selling NH less than a year ago was shut down nearby.
They still sell Kubota and MF but the NH's are gone.
Another dealer told me they shut down quite a few other dealers in Ohio.
Any dealers out there know if this was a "Big Brother" move or if there really had to be reasons to pull the dealership?

It was Davis Equipment in Seymour, IN. I drove over to Miller on Saturday. They made a really good impression.

I hate to see that, Davis Equipment was where I test drove a TC. Nothing like driving around in the town of Seymour on a tractor. I work in Columbus so Davis was closer to me than Miller.

Drove about 30 minutes to pick up some hydraulic fluid and some oil filters and the dealership is gone. The note on the door said they had move everything to another town, about an hour and a half away. I think any dealer will now be at least an hour. I'm more worried about service in the future.

There is still a Case-IH dealer in the same town. I'm assuming that I should be able to pick up supplies for my TC40DA there. Correct? I didn't stop by today. I was in shock. Part of my reason for buying this tractor from this dealer was that they had been around for ever.

Barry, something about this post bothered me, but only now have I put my finger on it. It occurs to me that you were a known customer, but you never got a letter or any notification that your dealer was moving. If it were an auto dealer, you can bet you would have had notification. It sure seems strange that you had to read the sign on the door to find out they had moved.

I guess it's easy to second-guess somebody, but if I were moving my business, I'd have a big moving sale and send out flyers to all my current and past customers. No need to move things I can sell and some customers might even take the opportunity to stock up on filters, fluids, and parts.

That's what I find to be the strangest thing about this. You didn't find out until you drove up to the door. How strange. :(
