In anticipation of chasing up north to continue land clearing before things bloom out making it impossible to see further than two feet, I broke down and purchase a blue-stick Jameson pole saw. I believe the blue stick is the lightest professional pole available and considering I have hundreds of not thousands of trees that need to be trimmed, I could justify the over $200.00 entry price.

Nice tool, Eric. Looking forward to your forthcoming fabrication of a custom pole-saw carrier for the NX. :)

I went on a creative bender in a totally different direction than tractors this past week.

That is a nice looking pole saw. Is there any reason you did not go with a gas powered saw since you have so much trimming to do?

We're still marching through the woods on foot. I don't have a side by side to carry tools and so I want something light enough to carry. In fact, when I meet the electrical engineer on site this week I told him to bring a side by side or be prepared to walk about three miles.

Clearing video from Wednesday. I start with light brush and move into heavier material.

Let me be the first to guess. You broke something else and had to bring it home to fix it?
