That is exactly what I thought I'd do is ditch the side link hydro and go with the factory link.
Deflector wise, I get serious wind off of my lake and so I'm thinking (but don't know until I do it) that being able to aim the shoot with the deflector may be a good thing.
aczlan, thank you for the Loftness tip! Loftness, along with Lorenz, and Provenost was in the group of blowers I was considering before stumbling upon this used blower.
Once I get the SnoLander fitted to my tractor and up and running, Murphy's Law suggests that it shall never snow again.
But if there is no snow, we can still go ice fishing.

No float out back unless I screw in a non-factory valve body into the manifold.

When things slow down this winter I'm planning on trying to look into a float setup for at least one rear valve.

I got the McKee 720 Snolander moved and unloaded. Fitting it to my tractor must take a backseat for another couple of weeks as I'm still moving heading toward closing on the 12th and I have a project over at the new parcel that I must get my tractor over to complete before the ground freezes before I bring the tractor back again to the lake house to fit this McKee snow blower.
