It jumps and throws a fit and it stops making downward progress.

I bought this PHD with my tractor but it is a Landpride. My kubota dealer doesn't always push the kubota attachments

Yes the phd is all done from the drivers seat

Thank You !!!

For us, this is a must have item when we buy our replacement tractor. I can see virtually endless opportunties to use a PHD around our property. Your pictures have elevated a number of ideas that we had put on the back burner because of the perceived effort involved with the hole digging.

LOL your very welcome, I have done a lot of post holes by hand, New England can be a tough place to dig because of all the stone. I use the PHD until it bites into something it doesn't like and I pull it out and remove the stone or deal with a root and then go back at it with the PHD. Most of the time it finds its way through. Sometimes it needs help with my bars. It was the most important implement for me at this time because of what I wanted to do. It certainly has made short work of my hole digging

Timber,
Your whole place looks like a "dream"!!! Lucky guy.
Thank You Rob, It realy is quite a place, my property line abuts conservation land and there are wetland easements all over this area so I am pretty confident that not a lot will change on my borders. My barn is just 9 years old and it is a livestock only building. My shop were my tractor sleeps is attached to the house and I have a large foundation at the edge of the field were I will build something at some point. I have had this place for 1 year now and so far I'm on plan. I'm at the beginning of a 20 + year project

some more progress pics. I set the top rail level all around and then finished the next 2 levels. The planking is on the inside and I'll be putting the mesh on the outside. I'll be tying it into the existing paddock on both ends. The small pole barn is gonna be the cabana and beside that in front of the paddock is were the Coi pond will go. The new pool is going to go on the same footprint as the old pool and deck

Nice to see all the progress your making, and with all that you have planned, this should be a fun thread to follow for some time.

Thanks for sharing the pictures,
Eddie

Yup, Looking good Timber. I found another use for PHD. My farmer freind said that they work great for cat burial holes. It is so much easier to just punch a hole in the ground than to try digging one with a shovel.
