when my buddy was clearning his land he had the excivator push the trees over.

we bucked, and limbed them up. We had a burn pile that burnt for a week straight. All told after the second day it was hot enough that we burnt 10-15 stumps that were all 20-30" in diam.

but thats hand stacking brush on a VERY hot fire.

Had it clear prior to Hurricane Katrina, 5 of my 9 acres. I've managed to clear the acre around the house, but now it's time to start on the mess in the backyard. It goes for about a 1000 ft up the hill with a couple of dozen trees scattered on the ground. It's gonna be a lot of fun clearing it with my MF135.

Too bad your so far away. I just purchased a mulcher head mounted to a skid steer. It's GREAT for clearing undergrowth, brush, vines, saplings, and even trees easily up to about 6". Then there is nothing to burn, haul off, or bury. It mulches everything!
