My new FX28D has an interesting habit. The rear implement tilt will decide that it needs to tilt the implement to the right and will tilt it all the way to the right. I suspect the switch is broken or a spring in it is broken/contact loose. I find that if I lean to the right it doesn't look so bad.

Anyone with similar experience?

Fox,
mine did the same thing, so I disconnected the spring off of it.
Mine was on the 3 point lift handle that controls the lift.
If you look carefully with a flashlight in the slot you will see it,
the lever will bump it while its up (in the lift mode)

It also allowed me to tilt it while the 3 point was up or down instead of the down only position.
Hope that does it

Mine is a separate joystick on the fender. I've got to take it apart to see what's wrong. There are two dials for an electronic tiller leveling system (that isn't connected).

Mine did that and I disconnected the wiring harness going to the hydrolic silenoid behind the seat. The joy stick no longer works but the one behind the seat does. I took it apart once and cleaned everything and it worked correctly for about a month, but then started tilting again so thats when I unplugged the harness.

I'll open it up and see, if it is no fixable and the part is expensive, maybe I'll just put a 3 point switch in it's place.

I had tilt problems in one of mine too. I pitched the controls that worked intermittently and switched to a single 3 way marine grade toggle switch. The switch should be self centering and dead in the middle. I think they call it a momentary/centering switch. I didn't use all of the tiller sensors/controls anyway. Just wanted tilt to work when I wanted it.

That's what I will probably do.

We generally get rid of the automated part of the UFO and just make the one switch do the tilt.

Recently though we spent a little time on an F235 and got it all working correctly per the Japanese instructions (that we had translated) and it is a very cool system. On the 3-digit f-series there is a UFO and a UFO-OK system and they operate differently.

Very neat machines!

Dave I have an FX235-D
Its eerie to watch the tiller working all by itself
while you just drive the tractor.
Out of all the tractors that is the one that all the buttons & knobs work properly.
I havent put a loader on it because its so nice for mowing & tilling I dont want to stab my trees any more than I have to !

It is nice to have a non-loader tractor around for mowing and tilling, and the F235-D is about as nice as they come.

We mounted a Koyker 110 on our 235 using a 215 kit, but due to the larger front tire we had to modify the belly mount in order to move the pockets up 1.25" and back .25". Works great. If you ever decide to do it, I can send you a picture of our modification, it is an easy and clean fix.
