Hey Starks,

Congrats! I've been nothing but happy with my Kioti.

From the looks of the pic's you posted... you went WAYYYYY out of sight of the wife before you took them...

Were you a bit embarassed of what your wife would say .... taking pictures of a tractor.... heheheh

Phill

PS: That's what I did with my first tractor pic's

TSC sells Allis-Chalmers(sp?) orange but I don't know how close it is to the Kioti early or late colors...
But if you want a orange implement then it might do it for you.

I used the TSC Allis Chalmers color paint on my back blade and it's very close. You can't tell unless the colors are side by side. My CK30hst is 4 years old and I don't know when Kioti changed their orange.

Thanks again for all the advice guys. Bought a 66" box blade and a 7' angle / tilt straight blade today from my Mom and Pop and Son Kioti dealer which is the exact opposite of a fancy showroom. Just glancing around the yard you can see stuff that's easily been forgotten for 20 / 40 / 60 years from old tractors to milling machines to retired fire engines to a line of brand new Kioti's. Walk into the office and there is crap that hasn't been touched in years laying around in heaps along with a big *** wood stove, family photos, and hot coffee. The handful of times I've been there however, there have always been two three or four folks coming and going, sitting by the heater eating Girl Scout cookies etc. It's like a tractor dealer / community center in the far corner of the rural mountains of North Carolina and a great place to spend my money instead of Tractor Supply etc. "Yancey County...better bring your own beer because we don't sell it here!"

?

Glad to hear that you are keeping the local economy going. Are you a local? If not it sounds like you can appreciate the heritage and traditions of the area, I bet there are some real fine, down to earth folks who live there.

I actually grew up 90 miles away but my family goes back six generations local to where I am now. We try to spend our money locally whenever possible whether it's produce, equipment etc. Think globally, act locally. Hey my tractor is from South Korea but imported, sold, and supported by a guy on the other end of the state....wasn't an accident.

Here's a pic from some stump busting today and a gratuitous shot just to let her get her fashion on. :) P.S...These two pics were with the Blackberry so excuse the quality....

Honestly after 12 years and numerous fast cars, boats, motorcycles, guns, knives and various other cool bits of kit.....she'd expect nothing less than multiple photo ops! Love my wife, love my toys! :)
