Very nice looking dog indeed. Dont look too big either.

It is mighty funny watching a 45lb dog prance around with a 20# hog in his mouth:laughing:

Mine is just under 70LBS so while not all that tall he is all meat & bone! lol Not much FAT on him but is sure is funny when he gets a bath he looks a LOT smaller when wet. When he gets riled up and his hair stands up he looks much bigger.

Here is a pic of my woman holding onto him after he had some fun with her. I "SIC" him onto her and he goes after her ears until she squeaks and giggles for a while then he is happy! lol

My wife has been wanting a husky (or similar) for awhile now also.

But two dogs is enough for me. Maybe the next one?? I agree with her though, husky's are beautiful dogs:thumbsup:

They can be TRYING at time, too stubborn and or smart for YOUR/OUR own good :D :grrr Mine is really one of the smartest and most helpful dogs I've ever had. When I had m surgery 5 yrs ago, he was 1, and if I pointed to something he would get it & bring it to me.

I spent a month laying on floor on Air Mattress after disk blew out and 2 months prior to being able to walk without walker. This dang "puppy" was my constant companion fetched pill bottles or remote & would come right back and lay right by me being careful not to bump me. I had 6" scar with 37 or 38 staples holding my surgery cut together, with daily bandage change for a few weeks. He would lay right there and watch his "momma" clean & fix it whimpering while it went on... He KNEW I was in bad shape and sure kept eye on me. Something ya dont really expect from a 1 year old puppy at 40~50 lbs at the time.

He has a big plastic box full of treats that he can pick out & asks for. He does NOT get them his self but puts a paw on and looks over a the box when he wants one. MOMMIE has him spoiled and will let him pick out one he wants and if can't make his mind up she gives him 2. NOW he thinks he has to have TWO EVERY TIME. I'm a hard sell, he has to go kiss his mommie for two lol.

dang fine dog I guess...

BTW Huskies are normally Hole Diggers and Chewers, mine was a Hole Digger, took 5 years to break him. It normally was due to the B's in heat next door. He would dig at the fence between houses and a couple times wanted to hide a woodchuck or possum for later. :p :x

Well, since I dont have much to do at the moment, I thought I'd share some pics of my stupid dog, and some pictures of what he has done:laughing:

This dog will eat and destroy anything.

And about 3 or 4 times a year, he gets some animal. Possum, Ground hog, Coon, etc.

Warning: some may be graphic...

So here we go:

This is what he did to all the corners of my garage... (thats steel BTW, NOT aluminum)

And a few of his favorite treats. OSB and Treated lumber

Digging in the woodpile for something??

Are you sure that he's not part black bear? Because in some of those pics where the ears/tails aren't very obvious, he looks a LOT like the guy who strolled through my dooryard early yesterday morning. ;)

Well at least I don't feel alone. My 15 yr old (14 at the time) HAD to have one of the Australian Shepherd/Beagle puppies that a friend was trying to get rid of. That dog is a smart dog you can tell, but good gosh can he chew up stuff. If it's left out or accessible it's fair game as far as he's concerned! My tools, work gloves, kids shoes, trailer wiring connector AND harness where it connects to the tailight, foam seal tape around the bottom edge of a pickup topper, 20 lb bag of charcoal, flowers (in the ground and in pots), 2 bags of smoking chips, pool toys, kids toys, grease gun, wood fence, wood off the wood pile, pool tubing on the pump equipment (multiple times), grandkid's life preserver for the pool, baseballs, baseball glove, bouncy balls, soccer balls, footballs...

Back in the spring we were getting our place set up for a party and I put out 12 brand new solar lights around the path to the pool just before the guests arrived. He was too interested in the party to do anything during it, and then I let him stay inside that night but I let him out the next morning and in less than 2 hours he had nearly every one of them chewed up and spit out. I couldn't believe how much damage he did in such little time!! Now, he's started digging out under the fence so he's been living life on a 25' cable for the last week or so. And Sunday night just before dark he was going crazy at the corner of our lawn equipment shed barking, and digging trying to get something that was up under there.

We haven't gotten him neutered yet but I'm planning on getting it done next week. Does anyone know if that will help?

Here is a picture of my hard working watch puppy taking a little timeout for a suntan. She hangs out in the yard and keeps an eye on me all day.
