- IH Farmall H 1939
Hello TBN,
As an introduction, I own 2 tractors currently, a Kioti DK-35 which I use for my "land management" projects- that is what I do now that I don't farm any more! My 2nd tractor is a IHF 1939 H, which is my restoration project & that is where I need my most help! As usual with old H's the seat & support were changed years ago & the "shocks" on that seat are shot, so I will looking to replace to the original style. The grill insert (where the cultivation control went in) is missing. They tell me that farmers left them in the barn 'cause to take off & put back on was a pain, so in old barns across the country there must be a lot of them! As with most H's it is missing fenders, about 50% of similar tractors I see don't have fenders, were they an option in 1939?
Thanks for listening,
Bruce
