I helped a friend get an old 2N back from a brother in laws house with my truck and trailer. It was made in 1945 and needs a little help to get back up and running, but seems to be in pretty decent shape overall. It was running a couple of years ago, and my friend plans on using it to grade his driveway.

Nice. I love the fender flairs on that truck but I would sure like to know how that fenders look under there.

I've wondered that my self. I haven't taken them off yet to look, but I have looked the truck over pretty good from the underneath.

Either way it is what it is. They look great. I dont think I would look. I would not want to know.

It's probably fine..That's new enough yet...A pull of and cleaning wouldn't hurt if keeping for the long haul though. Found long term surprises under those in my restoration days.

I second that. I towed my 8N behind my 97 F150 4wd with the 4.6 and had no issues. That cummins probably laughed at that.

Don't know about Illinois but fender flairs on trucks in NY are winter road salt holders. This is the first place that rots out on trucks with them.
