Good point. Yes I too have heard of this happening. Fortunately in these trailers they put the generator in the back by where the horses are so there is plenty of vent. Also the trailer has both smoke detectors and CO detectors built in.

You are a lucky man, that is one heck of a present. I have never even seen anything like it. Are they pretty much custom made, or are they more common than I think?

Should make getting everybody to the auctions/rodeos/shows alot easier. And if you sell a horse and deliver it, you can sign the papers in the "mobile office" /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

They're pretty common. Alot of people have the living quarters anymore. You can get them custom made but this was one they had on the lot. Yes it will certaily make things alot more comfortable!!! I am going to be showing the new horse quite a bit in reining and roping this year as well as my six year old is wanting to make it to the world show this year so we'll be going quite a bit. It certainly was something though!!!

How much does that thing weigh when it's loaded with horses, tack, feed, water?

Well they are made from aluminum so they are pretty light. Figure with the trailer and all and four horses in there I would say you would be at about 7 tons.

That's still a lot of weight to be pulling behind a truck. On reflecction I do remember seeing something similar, but around here they use them for snowmobiles. Some of the guys on the race circuit have trailers that not only carry the machines but have a repair facility and a stock of parts.
