Ahem, more snow falling. The Wife is getting upset with me because I've resorted to pushing bucketloads of the stuff over the embankment where her flower garden is. Last spring found a LOT of gravel in the flower bed, so this year I'm taking pains to keep the bucket a couple of inches off the driveway. Of course the Wife doesn't believe I'm being careful at all, and fully expects another gravel pit this year.
I really enjoy moving the white stuff around. The only drawback is when some flatlander comes barrelling up the hill while I'm trying to plow, and because of their incompetence at backing I have to interrupt the snow removal and get out of their way just so they can drive another 100 feet and turn around at the dead end. Our road is so narrow that if they get stuck, I can't go anywhere.
Had some real charmer drive up the road last night and make a right turn onto a cross country ski trail!!! Buried her little Toyota in the snow, and of course the rear was blocking the road. She was very upper crust, and snobbishly told me she had a shovel. No magic words. Just an imperial edict to get my peasant buns to work freeing her car. I told her I was happy for her, and hoped she knew how to use it.
Walked home and called the local wrecker. I like Willie. He triples his rates for people who do dumb things...like try to drive on ski trails. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
